The detergent industry is undergoing dual innovations in raw materials and formulas. Significant breakthroughs have been made in new surfactant technologies characterized by bio-based, low-foaming, easy-to-rinse, highly efficient decontamination, and environmental friendliness, providing safer and more efficient solutions for household washing, industrial cleaning, public facility cleaning, food processing, and other fields.
Bio-based surfactants are prepared from renewable resources such as vegetable oil, starch, and molasses through biological fermentation and enzyme catalytic processes. The production process features low energy consumption and low emissions, with a significantly lower carbon footprint than petroleum-based raw materials. This type of raw material has excellent wetting, penetrating, dispersing and emulsifying capabilities. It can achieve good decontamination effects with a relatively low dosage. Meanwhile, it produces moderate foam, is easy to rinse, shortens the washing time and reduces water consumption. Compared with traditional surfactants, bio-based products have a high biodegradability rate, can decompose rapidly after entering the environment, are friendly to water and soil, and are in line with the green and low-carbon development direction of the daily chemical industry.
